Proof of consent, opt-outs caught in plain words, and an evidence file when someone says you shouldn't have texted.
OptProof keeps a consent ledger with proof, catches “please stop texting me” as well as STOP, holds workflow texts until it's a legal hour where the contact is under the state rules and send limits you choose, and gives you a one-click evidence file for any contact. It works with the do-not-call scrubber you already use. It is a tool, not legal advice.

- “A client's lead texted ‘please stop’ and we kept going.”
- “‘Cancel my appointment’ put a good customer on permanent do-not-disturb.”
- “When the demand letter came we couldn't find the consent.”
How it works
- 1
Install it from your CRM's app marketplace
In each business account, or across all your client accounts at once.
- 2
Keep proof of consent and catch every opt-out
Paste your forms' consent text once. Every signup is saved with the exact words the person saw, the page, and the time. "Please stop texting me" is caught, not just STOP.
- 3
Connect the do-not-call scrubber you already use
OptProof reads the results DialClear, DNCScrub or your CSV give you, and puts a do-not-disturb on numbers that shouldn't be contacted.
- 4
Add one Rule Check step before your texts
Texts wait for a legal hour where the contact is and stay under the send limits you choose. Then pull a one-click evidence file for any contact.
What it can and can't do
Read this before you rely on it.
| Situation | What OptProof does | Guarantee? |
|---|---|---|
| A contact has a DND set by OptProof (litigator, DNC without consent, revoked, internal DNC) | the CRM blocks sends on that channel | Yes, for the send paths the CRM's DND covers. Which paths those are (Conversation AI, review requests, appointment reminders, bulk) is listed in the help docs |
| A workflow text with the Rule Check placed before it | Held until allowed, or failed | Yes, while the action stays in the workflow and premium actions are on. If removed, the CRM skips it (fails open) |
| A workflow text without the Rule Check, sent in quiet hours | Logged and flagged after it is sent | No. Detection only |
| A text typed by a user in the Conversations tab or mobile app at 9:30pm | Logged and flagged after it is sent | No. the CRM has no pre-send hook |
| Any phone call | Call DND for flagged contacts; logged and flagged after | No in-path control of calls |
| A contact created and texted within seconds, before the lookup returns | Held only if the Rule Check is the first workflow step | Partial |
| Accuracy of DNC, litigator and reassigned data | Reads the customer's own scrubber results; stores the source and list date; flags results older than 31 days | No. The data comes from the customer's scrubber and can be incomplete or stale |
| Where the contact actually is | Contact time-zone field, then address, then area code; when unsure, applies the strictest window of all candidates | No. Phones move; area codes are not locations |
| Whether a message is "marketing" or "informational" | Uses the purpose the customer sets on the action or the account default | No. The customer decides |
| Whether a consent record is legally sufficient | Stores what was captured, with proof | No. That is a legal question |
| Messages sent before install, or through other providers | Not covered, or monitored only if the CRM reports them | No |
| Legal compliance overall | — | Never claimed. The app is a tool, not legal advice |

Questions
- Does this make me TCPA compliant?
- No software can promise that. It enforces the rules you turn on where the CRM allows it, records everything, and gives your attorney the evidence.
- Can it stop a text my rep types at 9pm?
- Not before it is sent — the CRM has no pre-send check for apps. It flags it immediately and the evidence shows what happened.
- Can it stop calls?
- No. It marks do-not-call contacts so the CRM blocks them, and logs and flags every call.
- Do I still need a do-not-call scrubber?
- Yes. OptProof reads the results from DialClear, DNCScrub or a list you upload, and enforces them. Built-in lookups are planned.
- What does the Rule Check step cost?
- Your CRM bills a small per-run fee for app workflow steps (premium actions). OptProof's own price doesn't change with volume.
- Is this legal advice?
- No.
